Grant Thornton is now officially a Great Place To Work

Grant Thornton can call itself a Great Place To Work for the coming year. The prestigious recognition, based on employee feedback, confirms the strong corporate culture and the positive and inclusive employee experience within the company. This policy also convinces (candidate) employees. In 2024, Grant Thornton already recruited 15% more new employees than in the whole of 2023.

Great Place to Work®️ is a global authority on corporate culture, employee engagement and leadership behavior. Certified companies not only excel in employee satisfaction, but also generally have a high degree of innovation, positive turnover and stronger employee retention. This year alone, Grant Thornton hired more than 40 new employees, and last year it also added 35 new profiles.

‘The fact that Grant Thornton Belgium has achieved the Great Place To Work certification is proof of the dedication of our team and the supportive environment we have created,’ says Leslie Van den Branden, Managing Partner at Grant Thornton Belgium. ‘We believe that empowering our people is fundamental to delivering exceptional service to our clients. We see every day that clients appreciate our service. To continue to meet this demand, be present on a local level and offer our people a pleasant place to work, we opened a new office in Liège this year alone and moved our East Flanders and Kempen base.’

‘This certification is more than just recognition, it is proof that we are doing well for our people’, adds Mark Ernots, Head of People & Culture. ‘At Grant Thornton, we want to ensure that everyone gets the support they need to grow, be themselves, feel good and enjoy their work. Our survey results show how dedicated our teams are. Our people decided that Grant Thornton is a great place to work, resulting in a score of 82%.'
